Montana Rural Employment Opportunities

- advocates for the elimination of poverty.
Rural Employment Opportunities (REO) provides training and employment services, along with limited emergency food and fuel assistance, to eligible individuals in all 56 Montana counties with funding from the National Farmworker Jobs Program. Through REO and its partner agencies, Montana’s agricultural workers and their dependents can access programs to earn high school credentials, upgrade skills, retrain, and pursue certificates or degrees leading to full-time employment, higher wages, and greater economic security. Additionally, REO partners with employers to build a pipeline of qualified workers for agriculture and other high-demand industries.
Supporting Montana Agricultural Families
REO supports agricultural workers and their families with:
- Job search, placement and growth.
- Employment security and wage advancement.
- Funding for tuition, books and other related training costs
- Supportive services such as food and gas.
